Thank you so much for supporting my blog, I saw that you are a science fiction writer but that the influences you list are fantasy. I am just curious but what draws you to want to write science fiction but read fantasy? I hope you are having a great day and I am looking forward to hearing from you.
I am influenced by both science fiction and fantasy. I grew up reading JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Ray Bradbury, Issac Asimov, James Blish, Frank Herbert, and others. So yes, I like both and read both. I am also going to write a fantasy series as well some day.
That is awesome! I just finished reading Dune by Frank Herbet, and I have to say it had a pretty steep learning curve, but I loved it. I love his use of third-person omniscient. It is a nice change from most of the modern work that I have read from other authors.
